Do

  • Take 2 ibuprofen 90 minutes before your appointment if you’re sensitive to pain.
  • Arrive with at least 10 days of hair growth (about the length of a grain of rice).
  • Avoid booking during your menstrual cycle (wear a tampon if necessary on light-flow days).
  • Trim hair if it’s longer than half an inch.
  • Limit caffeine on the day of your wax—it can increase sensitivity.

Don't

  • Don’t touch freshly waxed skin for 24 hours (to avoid irritation/infection).
  • Avoid hot baths, showers, or steam rooms for the first 24 hours.
  • Stay out of the sun and tanning beds for at least 24 hours post-wax.
