Spa Policy and Etiquette
 
BOOKING A SPARTY (WHAT IT TAKES):
*Note:  This page will answer many of the questions you have about sparties. Please read this before calling!
 
*We need a minimum of 5 people to book a sparty at your location. We can serve anywhere from 2-20  people in office. 
 
*We operate in and out of office by appointment only (this means we aren’t always in the office. It’s wise to call ahead when you wish to pay us a visit!). We generally need a one week notice for smaller groups (5 or less). We typically need 2-6  weeks notice on spa parties of 4-12 guest. Any parties over 12 guest may need at least 3 weeks notice and planning, especially if you have a specialized theme in mind! We book up quickly during holidays and weekends, the more notice you can give us the better we can serve you.
 
*Once you have decided to book with us, we need a deposit of 1/2 the spa party amount due 1 week after you book your party to reserve the date. This deposit is refundable only with a 72 hour cancellation notice.  The remaining balance is due 72 hours prior to your party. We need an exact head count at this time. You will be charged for no-shows, we have to do this to ensure proper staffing.
 
*The amount of therapists we provide depends on the number of guests attending and types of service.
 
*We need a minimum of 300 square feet to have a sparty.
 
*Pre-consultations are free.  We are happy to come to your home and help you find the best ways to turn your home or office into the perfect spa party setting.
 
*We currently cater to groups of up to 100 people.
 
*Set up and travel time is included in prices quoted within Vanderburgh County and parts of Warrick County (approximately a 20 mile radius). Additional mileage is factored in to those living outside of these boundaries and is based on fuel costs and days/times of the week that party is to take place. There are NO HIDDEN FEES when you book a sparty. We like to keep it simple!
 
*We expect sparty to start on the time that is given to us (generally we will arrive 1/2-1 hour prior to party time to set up). We do charge $25 per hour,per therapist ($12 per half hour) OVERTIME fees. It is important that  your guests arrive on time. If we start late, and you do not agree to pay overtime, we will cut the party short as there are many days when we do multiple parties and must be fair to our other guest (and ourselves, time's important to everyone!)
 
*We currently accept cash (please do NOT mail cash), checks (any bounced deposit checks will result in a cancelled sparty, you are responsible for any additional bounced check fees incurred). We also accept Visa and MasterCard. Stay tuned as we’ll soon have online payment services available for your convenience. To make payments by phone, please call 812-471-4990.
 
*Please specify any enhanced or ala carte services when booking (hot stones add ons, astrology sessions, aromatherapy, martial arts/yoga, etc.) Part of these services are contracted out through trusted professionals in the area and need to be booked well in advance.
 
*Robes (for up to 9 people) and candles are provided upon request only. Robes must be returned in like condition by the end of the night.

SAFETY,ETIQUETTE AND ALL THAT JAZZ (in office or at your spa party)...
 
*We hate to be buzz kills but...rude, inappropriate behavior of any kind, sexual jokes or remarks will not be tolerated.
 
*We will not work on individuals who may present a contagious disease or condition that is contraindicated to massage or spa treatments including but not limited to large cuts, skin rashes, flu, etc. Safety First!!
 
*Many spa guests love to mix martinis and massage, however, The GO GO team will not work with any individuals who appear to be intoxicated as massage can speed up the level of intoxication in many individuals.
 
*Please be sure to inform guests of the importance of arriving on time so as not to incur overtime charges or a reduced party time.
 
*We reserve the right to leave a party at any time any of these policies are violated. This list in NOT all inclusive.
 
*Please make sure all guests have read and agree with the spa policy above.

IN OFFICE ETIQUETTE!
Read below to find a few ways in which you can make your life a lot easier when planning a day to the spahh (and keep your massage therapists happy too!)
 
*NEW CLIENTS: It’s a good idea to show up a few minutes early to fill out paperwork and get settled! We like to take a few extra minutes before the start of each session to assess the goals for your visit today as well (i.e.: relaxation, back pain relief, allergy relief, better skin complexion, etc…)
 
*Please get directions from us or MapQuest BEFORE you leave for your appointment if you are unsure of our exact location (we know we are a little tricky to find).
 
*IF you are late and we have another client immediately after you, we will have to charge you the full price for your session and dock your time.  We must be fair to the clients that show up on time!
 
*We operate  BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, meaning we don’t always hang out in our office  when we don’t have other appointments. If you CANNOT show up for an appointment, call us.
NO Call, NO Show will result in us asking for payment up front next time. If you do not show up for your second appointment, we will then charge your credit card for half  the $$ amount of your visit.
Those with gift cards will lose the full amount of their gift certificate if they do not call or show up for an appointment (hey, our time is valuable too!).
 
*SPEAKING OF GIFT CARDS, it’s helpful to mention that you have a gift card and the G.C. # when booking your appointment so we can look up your card and properly prepare for your spa treatment.
 
*ON THE SUBJECT OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR: Rude, inappropriate behavior of any sort will not be tolerated. Sexual comments or remarks will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the session.  Both massage therapist and client have the right to refuse or terminate a service at any time for any reason. Payment for the entire service will be expected. We are professionals and expect to be treated as such.
 
*For the sake of your own sanity..turn off your cell phone during your session! You’ll relax better and we’ll be able to better focus on YOU!
 
*We request that you update us on any changes concerning your client intake form or health status.
